The polished surface reveals every detail of the ancient wood grain from this giant petrified conifer including more growth rings than you can count! The color in this magnificent fossil treasure is one of the prettiest we've seen yet from this or any other petrified forest! At more than 200 million years old - this is a REAL antique! The rind of the original log is intact around about 90% of the stone with one fresher exposure (last photo). Ships in a custom wooden crate via freight carrier.
